Pain Promise: 2Corinthians 12:7-10

Paul had a thorn in his flesh and he pleaded with the Lord 3 times to take it away.  “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”

Whenever you are in pain, remember that his grace is sufficient for you.  He is working on something in your life and when you come out, you will be stronger.  Therefore, rejoice in standing on the promise that the Lord’s strength is becoming perfect during this weakness.

“Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distress for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”

Testimony 1: When I was in elementary, I was hit by a car and ended up with a fractured leg.  I had to wear a long cast and when it was finally healed, I had to go through rehab with walking on that leg again.  You could see this as a tragedy.   However, years later, I couldn’t make the team for any sports.  I finally tried track and ended up being one of the fastest runners.  Winning races including going to the Junior Olympics and winning a medal there.
